Bit-Mat Products of Indiana, Inc. (BMI) was formed in 1997 and is a division of the Klink Group.

The Klink legacy began modestly in 1964 with a determined young couple, a used dump truck spray-painted green, and a job hauling materials for bridge construction along the new Interstate 69 in northeast Indiana.

Wayne Klink was the driver. His wife Carol was the accountant and mechanic. Together, the young couple spent weekends at their family farm maintaining their International Harvester 1800 and dreaming of a decent life for themselves and their children. Early on, Wayne told a friend that if he had just nine trucks, he could make a good living for his family. Today, that one truck has grown into The Klink Group of Companies, a responsive, highly trusted provider of transportation services, eco-friendly asphalt products, and other construction materials. The Klink Group, encompassing four corporations at six locations in two states, employs more than 180 people, operates nearly 200 top-of-line trucks, tractors and trailers, and runs three asphalt emulsion operations. The companies conduct business by the same principles embraced by Wayne and Carol at the very start: Honesty, integrity, hard work, promptness, and uncompromising standards. It is the Klink difference, and it is benefiting projects both large and small across the country.
